Q The Unit one in biology talks about cells. As cells are the structural and functional unit of animal and plant body. Students must feel the wonder of discovering the different parts and functions of a mostly microscopic structure using compound microscope. Children will be amazed to see the differences between the prokaryotes and Eukaryotic cells through microscope. They will bring samples of onion, Squamous epithelial cells and learn to stain and make slides to go under the microscope. Teacher will help students to make clay models of plant and animal cells, preferably a Cross Sections and with all visible cellular oganalles. They will color and put their work to the weekly science exhibitions. They will explain the visitors the different parts of the cell.
